Denver, Colorado: "My eldest son has been faithful to
give me reflexology on my demand over the last 28 years. As I
struggled with an inoperable condition this last year, Zachary
has willingly come to my home at least once a week to give me
reflexology. He has always followed my instruction as to the type
of treatment that I felt I needed ... which might vary from visit
to visit. Zachary has kept me well supplied over the years with
different reflex stimulus machines and tools. This enabled me
to effectively work the reflexes on my own feet every day.
"I recently rushed to Afoot Connection
Reflexology Center in my car during a snow squall because I sensed
something was not right with my heart. As I entered the clinic
door my heart went into a severe state of failure ... ventricular
fibrillation. Although I didn't have an appointment ... my son

(In this individual case Zachary postulates
that the heart was able to undergo defibrillation through the
current of electricity created by the finger pressure on the sore
reflex. This electrical response is identified scientifically
as the direct current of injury which
signals the brain to release the direct current of regeneration
from the brain. This current of regeneration is an important aspect
of the body's self-healing mechanism.)
Gangrene Almost Took

Scottie was a diabetic who lost control of his blood sugar and the doctor had to take his toes - all ten of them as pictured in the above photo. "Several years later the bottom of my right foot was so deteriorated with another round of gangrene that the doctor said he was going to have to take my leg at the knee. That is when a nurse sent me to see Master Reflexologist Kathie Graham. my chronic back pain could be healed by reflex stimulation on
my feet, so I submitted to treatment.
"All signs of sciatica disappeared during administration

I wish to verify that several months ago I was contacted by Dr.
Zachary Brinkerhoff. He requested that I objectively evaluate
and critique the reflexology course that he offered at the Modern
Institute of Reflexology.
Pursuant to this, I subsequently visited his clinic on numerous
occasions. I carefully reviewed the didactic as well as the clinical
portions of his course. Then I researched the Colorado State requirements
for occupational education.
My investigation showed that the reflexology course
given by the Modern Institute of Reflexology is extremely comprehensive.
Its content meets and in some instances exceeds the requirements
of Colorado occupational education.
To further check on Brinkerhoff's competency as a reflexologist,
I arranged for a certified reflexologist a (who I have known for
years) to visit him as a patient. Following her visit, the reflexologist
reported to me that she was extremely impressed with both his
knowledge of reflexology and his manual and instrumental techniques.
Apparently, there is some dissension between different organizations
within the reflexology profession regarding the use of instruments.
After researching the history of reflexology, it was apparent
that the originators of the profession, including Eunice Ingham,
used and recommended the use of instruments. The dissension is
undoubtedly a difference of opinion within the profession that
should be solved internally.
After becoming a member of the MIR Advisory Board I proceeded
to help Brinkerhoff reverse the Dr. Harvey Lampell bone alignment
so that he could perform the Hiss Bone Set Technique from his
wheelchair. Now he can work on a patient who is reclined in a
LaFuma while sitting in his wheelchair.

CO: Marilyn turned to the local yellow pages hoping to find
help from a Reflexologist. “I called Afoot Connection Reflexology
Center and made an appointment for my first reflexocure treatment
... October 30, 1990. The practitioner seemed confident reflexology
could bring me relief from my yeast infection and the pain I was
suffering in my neck. My special pillow wasn’t helping very
much and I needed some kind of relief,” related Marilyn.
“I was surprised when I arrived and found my Reflexologist
was a paraplegic in a wheelchair, but he sure gave me a knockout
treatment.
“It all started with a medical history and
a full disclosure that warned me of possible side-effects from
what was termed Full Spectrum Reflexology treatment. It appeared
that Afoot Connection’s techniques included instruments and
machines that were supposed to give a greater dynamic in reflex
stimulation. I wanted help. I was ready to get on with the show,”

Marilyn relates how much she loved the first phase
of treatment ... a hot whirlpool foot bath“There were four
powerful jets pounding my feet which felt wonderful. As the water
gradually turned hot I began to perspire. When my face turned
red Zachary shut off the pump and swiveled my chair 90 degrees
where he placed my feet on a Turkish towel. He gently dried them
and placed fresh cotton socks on my feet before flipping the switch
to the McDowell Oscillator which was hiding under that towel.
“Never in my life have I experienced such violent
action upon my feet. As the oscillator plate went into motion
... my feet became a blur before my eyes ... but it felt great.
During this time Zachary was pressing reflex points on the tops

“Zachary told me to close my eyes before he
shut this machine down,” said Marilyn. “He wanted me
to keep my eyes closed until all sensations subsided. He said
it would be like going on a little trip ... a trip into the experience
of observing the effect of reflex activation on the body. Wow!!
Was he right!! It felt like all this heaviness was sinking down
into my feet. It felt like the heaviness was running out of my
toes. The swell of energy was so overwhelming that I squinted
my eyes even more tightly closed. I felt like I was floating in
the heavens. What a rush. I think that I kept my eyes shut for
about 10 minutes before all the sensations generated by the oscillator
finally resolved. And when I finally opened my eyes it was like
stepping into a new world.”
Waiting in Treatment Room #2 was an over stuffed
recliner into which Marilyn lost herself. As if the oscillator
wasn’t enough stimulation for the average person on their
first visit ... she got hit with another machine called the Percus-O-Matic
‘jackhammer’. “He worked both my feet with that
air-powered percussion machine like there was no end in sight
... and I didn’t ever want him to stop,” explained Marilyn.
“I love anything that has to do with feet, but this was the
ultimate. I knew I had come to the right place if it was help

that I could never forget.”
Her treatment lasted one and a half hours. There
was some finger work to the neck reflex and some probe pressure

is my personal statement regarding the clinical competence and

Reflexology Center located at 4086 Youngfield, Wheat Ridge,
Colorado. My sixty-one years of podiatry experience (20 years
as Chief of Foot Clinic at Denver General Hospital) allow me the
ability to judge Zachary Brinkerhoff, DR, and his operation among
the best I've had the privilege to visit as a patient. All of
his procedures are in accordance with my philosophy: surgery
of the foot should never even be considered until all conservative
measures have been tried.
The treatment I received at MIR Clinic was a very pleasant experience
and I felt right at home under Dr. Brinkerhoff's care. I was thrilled
to find that the Reflexologists at MIR Clinic have been trained
in the Hiss Technique of foot joint manipulation.
I have also been honored with a request to teach the ROSS/HISS
METHOD to students at the Modern Institute of Reflexology; which
I have accepted because unnecessary surgeries have been a poor
substitute for skilled joint corrections through proper alignment

Dr. Zachary didn't bat an eye as I told him my
unhappy story. He confidently began to apply Full Spectrum Reflexology
to my feet with a big smile. The Photoluminescent Reflex Beamer
III-3c was first shined on my stocking clad feet which felt sort
of good, but then came the DRUMmer reflexocure machine which at
times was extremely painful on certain reflex points. I found
myself screaming and groaning in agony, but he just kept working.
By my second session Zachary had crafted a customized wooden probe
reflex tip for the DRUMmer. It cupped around the contour of my
heel in order to reach a key reflex point he had found there.

had a healing process to go through which could take up to six
months, but required my participation by improving my diet and
continuing with prayer and self-treatment everyday at home. He
has continued to include believing prayer and thanksgiving to
the Sovereign Creator and His Beloved Son with each treatment.
"If we include the Heavenly Father in each treatment it
will help keep the human ego out of the equation," he
told me rather pointedly.
However, my husband is convinced that these good
results are due to Zachary's good judgment and wisdom in application
of the knowledge he has gained over the last 37 years of practice.
He probably feels that way because his prostate restriction was
corrected after his first reflexocure treatment. "Hey,
I am urinating like an elephant now," exclaimed Dennis
with a big smile on his face.
Now that my feet seem to be out of crises ...
we are working on other areas of weakness in my mid-back and neck.
My husband and I each bought our own Beamer III-3b at the recommendation
of Zachary. He had encouraged us to use them at home between treatments
in order to assure our complete recovery. He cross-examined me
when I complained that I wasn't making the promised recovery ...
and he nailed me when I confessed to be giving myself only 10

him the good report on treatment of my mid-back and neck problem.
Yes, my back and neck are completely recovered: cured if you please.

on the problem area for at least two hours a day.

Hot Springs, California: It was 10:00 PM and Zachary was closing
up his Zone Therapy Clinic located at the Fountain of Youth Mineral
Spring when a car sped up in a cloud of dust and skidded to a
stop. Three young Mexican boys jumped out and came running over
to the closing door. They pleaded with Zachary to work on their
Auntie's bad back before shutting the door. "Her back
was so bad it took all three of them to shove her up the big step

came to Afoot Connection to get some help for my lungs which were
heavily congested and breathing wasn't coming easy. I didn't know
quite what to think of the reflexology procedure (DRUMmer and
Reflex Beamer's) until my lungs suddenly opened in the middle
of the ReflexoCure (reflexology) treatment and I could breath
with complete ease.

had sprung up on my left hand (which had not been treated with

It tested positive. I am happy to say ... there has been no reoccurrence
of any new cancers in the last two years, and I don't believe

Mary survived heart surgery, but not without extreme
suffering that was so intense she felt death would be preferable.
She did quit smoking after surgery and improved her diet, but
the residual effects of her previous life-style manifested as
a malignant breast cancer. Here is her continuing saga:
Sixty-eight
year old Mary E. Haley of Glendale, AZ was recently diagnosed
with a serious condition of malignant breast cancer by her physician
who recommended surgery. She told the doctor she wanted to pray
about the situation and declined his prescription. "I
couldn't bear another surgery after the suffering I experienced
following a quadruple heart by-pass surgery just last year."
So, she turned to a trusted friend with the overwhelming
prognosis - which was dire. Her friend listened closely and
then he prayed for faith and the ability to follow an explicit
none invasive protocol for killing the cancer - a procedure
for which he clearly laid out.

Since her first report - Mary had continued to administer the
light/heat by the IR Lamp faithfully and said she would continue
to do so until all trace of the remaining tumor is gone. The
initial protocol required that she radiate her breast at close
proximity 2 times daily and to hold the lamp in position until

"This thing is so small I can't feel it with my finger
when I palpate my breast. There is not a detectable lump anymore,
so I am very interested to see what the Ultra Sound will show
on my next visit. But I am still shinning the infrared lamp
on my breast everyday; and guess what else has happened? That
ugly scar from my scapula down the center of my ribcage that
the surgeon left behind when he performed my quadruple heart
by-pass - that frightful scar is almost gone. While shinning
the light on my breast it was also hitting my scar. All I can
see is a very fine line of scar tissue. This thing might totally
disappear. I feel like the scar tissue in my heart must have
likewise regressed. That is probably why I am feeling so much
better than I have since my heart surgery."

Cancer Update:
John Hopkins Hospital
1. Every person has cancer cells in the body. These cancer cells
do not show up in the standard tests until they have multiplied
to a few billion. When doctors tell cancer patients that there
are no more cancer cells in their bodies after treatment, it just
means the tests are unable to detect the cancer cells because
they have not reached the detectable size.
2. Cancer cells occur between 6 to more than 10 times in a person's
lifetime
3. When the person's immune system is strong the cancer cells
will be destroyed and prevented from multiplying and forming tumors.
4. When a person has cancer it indicates the person has multiple
nutritional deficiencies. These could be due to genetic, environmental,
food and lifestyle factors.
5. To overcome the multiple nutritional deficiencies, changing
diet and including supplements will strengthen the immune system.
6. Chemotherapy involves poisoning the rapidly-growing cancer
cells but also destroys rapidly-growing healthy cells in the bone
marrow, gastrointestinal tract etc, and can cause organ damage
- like liver, kidneys, heart, lungs etc.
7. Radiation while destroying cancer cells also burns, scars
and damages healthy cells, tissues and organs.
8.Initial treatment with chemotherapy and radiation will often
reduce tumor size. However prolonged use of chemotherapy and radiation
do not result in more tumor destruction.
9 When the body has too much toxic burden from chemotherapy and
radiation the immune system is either compromised or destroyed,
hence the person can succumb to various other kinds of infections
and complications.
10. Chemotherapy and radiation can cause cancer cells to mutate
and become resistant and difficult to destroy. Surgery (including
biopsy) can also cause cancer cells to spread to other sites.
11. An effective way to battle cancer is to starve the cancer
cells by not feeding it with the foods it needs to multiply.
CANCER CELLS FEED
ON:
a. Sugar is a cancer-feeder. By cutting
off sugar it cuts off one important food supply to the cancer
cells. Sugar substitutes like NutraSweet, Equal,Spoonful, etc
are made with Aspartame and it is harmful. A better natural
substitute would be Manuka honey or molasses but only in very
small amounts. Table salt has a chemical added to make it white
in color. Better alternative is Bragg's amino's or sea salt.
b. Milk causes the body to produce
mucus, especially in the gastrointestinal tract. Cancer feeds
on mucus. By cutting off milk and substituting with unsweetened
soy milk cancer cells are being starved.
c. Cancer cells thrive in an acid
environment. A meat-based diet is acidic and it is best to eat
fish, and a little chicken rather than beef or pork. Meat also
contains livestock antibiotics, growth hormones
and parasites, which are all harmful, especially to people with
cancer.
d. A diet made of 80% fresh vegetables
and juice, whole grains, seeds, nuts and a little fruit help
put the body into an alkaline environment. About 20% can be
from cooked food including beans. Fresh vegetable juices provide
live enzymes that are easily absorbed and reach down to cellular
levels within 15 minutes to nourish and enhance growth of healthy
cells. To obtain live enzymes for building healthy cells try
and drink fresh vegetable juice (most vegetables including bean
sprouts) and eat some raw vegetables 2 or 3 times a day. Enzymes
are destroyed at
temperatures of 104 degrees F (40 degrees C).
e. Avoid coffee, tea, and chocolate,
which have high caffeine. Green tea is a better alternative
and has cancer-fighting properties. Water: it is best to drink
purified water, or filtered, to avoid known toxins and heavy
metals in tap water. Distilled water is acidic, avoid it.
12. Meat protein is difficult to digest and requires a lot of
digestive enzymes. Undigested meat remaining in the intestines
become putrefied and leads to more toxic buildup.
13. Cancer cell walls have a tough protein covering. By refraining
from or eating less meat it frees more enzymes to attack the protein
walls of cancer cells and allows the body's killer cells to destroy
the cancer cells.
14. Some supplements build up the immune system (IP6, Flor-ssence,

Dioxin Carcinogens cause cancer, especially
breast cancer.
Dioxins are highly poisonous to the cells of our bodies. Don't
freeze your plastic bottles with water in them as this releases
dioxins from the plastic.
Recently, Dr. Edward Fujimoto, Wellness Program Manager at Castle
Hospital , was on a TV program to explain this health hazard
presented by dioxins. He talked about these chemicals and how
bad they are for us.
He said that we should not be heating our food in the microwave
using plastic containers..
This especially applies to foods that contain fat. He said that
the combination of fat, high heat, and plastics releases dioxin
into the food and ultimately into the cells of the body. Instead,
he recommends using glass, such as Corning Ware, Pyrex or ceramic
containers for heating food. You get the same results, only
without the dioxin. So such things as TV dinners, instant ramen
and soups, etc., should be removed from the container and heated
in something else.
Paper isn't bad but you don't know what is in the paper. It's
just safer to use tempered glass, Corning Ware, etc.
He reminded us that a while ago some of the
fast food restaurants moved away from the foam containers to
paper. The dioxin problem is one of the reasons.
Also, he pointed out that plastic wrap, such
as Saran, is just as dangerous when placed over foods to be
cooked in the microwave. As the food is nuked, the high heat
causes poisonous toxins to actually melt out of the plastic
wrap and drip into the food. Cover food with a paper towel instead.
No plastic containers in microwave.
No water bottles in freezer.
No plastic wrap in microwave.
